I’ve always wondered about the Ispano clan in Escaflowne. Where do they come from and what the hell are they? And how many Ispano Guymelefs are there in Gaea? Cause in the series everyone seems to be amazed over Escaflowne as if it was the only Ispano Guymelef there is left or something. What happened to the rest?
They should totally make a sequel for this series! Maybe add more details to the origin of Escaflowne?
And Van and Hitomi should definitely meet once again! YES. And sure, maybe for some unfortunate reason they just couldn’t live in one world together, BUT THEN years later on, the story continues with Hitomi’s child who’s never met his/her father. And as the new story unfolds this kid soon realizes that his/her father was actually from this world called ‘Gaea’, that Draconian blood flows through his/her veins. And and…xdjvdlgkjsdh;dkaf;ghkdj AAGH THIS SERIES

aksdjghldfghSounds like a cool plot! There was soo much left out of Escaflowne, things left unexplained because of their budget ;w; I think Escaflowne may have been the last Ispano model. I’d have to watch it again…but thats a very good question. There was a vision, however..that Dornkirk or the sorcerers foreseen. It was Hitomi on Escaflowne guiding Escaflowne and many other ‘escaflownes’ to victory..am I right? XD; I think there was such a scene. Maybe the power of Hitomi’s abilities could awaken more of them? Ahhh I need to rewatch Escaflowne..agaaain <3 xD

If memory serves me correctly, wasn’t there originally supposed to be more episodes? I think there was supposed to be 39 or so, but due to budget constraints they dropped to 26. I do like how the series ended, but at the same time I definitely was wanting more!
